BUY NOTHING DAY (BND)
It's time to lock up your wallets and purses, cut up your credit cards and dump the love of your life - shopping.
Last Friday and Saturday of November is Buy Nothing Day. It's a day where you challenge yourself, your family and friends to switch off from shopping and tune into life. The rules are simple, for 24 hours you will detox from shopping and anyone can take part provided they spend a day without spending!
Everything we buy has an impact on the environment, Buy Nothing Day highlights the environmental and ethical consequences of consumerism. The developed countries - only 20% of the world population are consuming over 80% of the earth's natural resources, causing a disproportionate level of environmental damage, and an unfair distribution of wealth.
Participate by not participating!
Of course, Buy Nothing Day isn't about changing your lifestyle for just one day - we want it to be a lasting relationship with you consumer conscience - maybe a life changing experience? We want people to make a commitment to consuming less, recycling more and challenging companies to clean up and be fair. The supermarket or shopping mall might offer great choice, but this shouldn't be at the cost of the environment or developing countries.

Donderdag 28 november 2013: infomoment vredesactie Ctrl+Alt+EU Geen militair Europa @ Azzes
Vredesactie lanceert een nieuwe campagne tegen de militarisering van Europa. Want, hoewel het volgens sommigen een vredesproject is, is de EU onmiskenbaar een militaire macht geworden. Eén van de meest zorgwekkende evoluties hierin is de invloed van de wapenindustrie op het Europese Veiligheid- en Defensiebeleid. Het is hoog tijd om weerwerk te bieden, om de militarisering van de EU aan de kaak te stellen!
Dit weekend (van 22 tot 24 november) organiseren ze ook een voorbereidingsweekend in Brussel. In dit weekend wordt ook informatie gegeven over de campagne en worden er acties voorbereid in affiniteitsgroepen. Via actie-gerichte workshops wordt gekeken hoe de acties zo optimaal mogelijk uitgevoerd kunnen worden. Inschrijven hiervoor kan via de website van Vredesactie.
Op donderdag 28 november organiseren we een infomoment over de campagne Ctrl+Alt+EU en de acties errond in ‘t Assez om 20u.

Maquina Muerta s/t EP
somos una banda de Mexico específicamente de la ciudad de Guadalajara.
Aquí les dejamos una reseña del zine "eskupe al alcalde" de España.
"Ya los primeros segundos del disco de MAQUINA MUERTA empiezan con un “Ritmo nórdico” de batería que llama a “Realidades de guerra”, pero esta guerra es más introspectiva y precisa que de las que Discharge hablaban.
Máquina muerta se centran en guerras concretas, las personales que sufre cada uno en su interior, en las que poner paz pero es imposible, pues si tu agitación cesa estas muerto. Las urbanas, las que se ven en ciudades como México DF, donde la pobreza avanza al mismo tiempo que el consumismo, donde el ejercito camina al mismo tiempo que los cuerpos caen, donde las urnas se llenan de mierda y mantienen el engaño de un capitalismo violento que oprime sin piedad a quien paga por el. ¡Que absurdo!, como absurdos y primitivos, y repetitivos y monótonos se reclaman Máquina Muerta, como la realidad que les rodea en México, donde se fraguó esta banda. Integrantes de Orden Mundial a su paso por Centroamérica no tenian otra opción que juntarse con otros asquerosos y hacer hardcore sin piedad.
Letras duras, música feroz, sin compasión con los instrumentos que aporrean, sin compasión con quienes gustan del hardcore limpio medido y cuidado, para ellxs van toneladas de desorden, punteos esquizofrénicos y una grabación sucísima. Disco elaborado artesanalmente con cuidado y atención, desde la serigrafía de su portada a la de sus galletas, acompañado con letras y explicaciones del porque de este disco. Leyendo y escuchando su ruido Máquina Muerta me hacen estar seguro de que esto es algo importante".

Gracias por el poyo y difusion,nuevamente en la kalle llevando desde libros a fanzines komo tambien musika o dvds,ahora agrego el dia jueves tambien,tambien estoy viendo de volver a la fakultad de humanidades,si tienen espacios donde poder armar la feria solo eskriban y veremos,es kizas volver a empezar kon algo ke estaba muy kieto,pero esta vez a nivel individual.
La gente ke kiera enviar archivos de fanzines o lo ke kieran difundir solo envienlo,sera kompartido kon la gente.
Distribuidoras,sellos ke kieran enviar su propaganda sera puesto en un expositor de mails y direkciones en la feria.

Sesión 02 de Imperdibles, clásicos del punk latinoamericano
Como lo prometido es deuda, puntualmente hoy viernes difundimos la segunda sesión de "Imperdibles", la selección de lo que consideramos los 200 temas eternos del punk latinoamericano de todos los tiempos. Como siempre hemos abarcado casi todos los subgéneros, incluyendo agrupaciones de diferentes países.
En el punk no hay ganadores ni perdedores. La idea de hacerlo como una cuenta regresiva nos permitió agrupar las canciones entre las que nos gustan mucho y las que nos gustan muchísimo. Como tuvimos que ponerle una cifra, decidimos seleccionar 200, pero pudieron ser miles.
Esperamos que disfruten esta sesión la mitad de lo que nosotros gozamos armándola. Cualquier comentario por el email

Imperdibles, sesión 01: Las 200 mejores canciones del punk latinoamericano
Desde 1980 el punk hecho en América latina, con todas las condiciones en contra, ha tenido magníficos exponentes que han creado increíbles canciones en medio de diversas precariedades.
En el fanzine Exilio Interior hemos seleccionado lo que creemos son las 200 canciones más significativas, recopilándolas con el mejor sonido posible para difundirlas en podcast por internet en una cuenta regresiva semanal que comenzamos ahora. Los temas pertenecen a todos los subgéneros, seleccionadas por 3 criterios: Que una parte, por lo menos, esté cantada en castellano; Que no haya sido grabada en un concierto y que no sea una versión de otra agrupación. ¡Pudimos haber escogido muchas mas! Esperamos que disfruten la mitad de lo bien que nosotros la pasamos armando este recorrido por la historia del punk y hardcore hecho en América Latina.

my
personal situation is a bit fucked up. since 3 weeks i live on a
construction place more or less. you know, i live in a huge building as
the only person since 10 years (with my lovely dog). we have a new
landlord since february 2013, who seems to be an asshole (what a
surprise). they started modernization action some weeks ago, destroyed
my roof month ago(i have a great view to the third floor over me now and
i am happy not to be hidden by the stones falling down all the time).
communication with these bastards goes in direction zero, capitalistic
reality, gentrification-shit. they do not even talk to my lawyer. it
made me to bring most of my stuff out of here to a lager, especially my
record-collection, ;-).
this situation makes me to try to clear my stock a bit (SEE SPECIAL
OFFERS IN MY WHOLESALE LIST), to have more space for the new stuff and
get some money to pay the new shit on the one hand,. on the other hand
to be able to move fast in case situation becomes worse, which seems to
become. so, come on guys, support rawmantic disasters, coz the last
thing i will stop is making noisy records and i really wanna continue.

Vrouwen in ‘t Zwart is een wereldwijd netwerk van vrouwen dat zich inzet voor een rechtvaardige vrede, tegen oorlog, militarisme, discriminatie, homofobie, racisme, onrechtvaardigheid en alle vormen van geweld.
Wij zijn geen organisatie maar een internationaal netwerk met een speciale formule van actie voeren.
Vrouwen in ’t Zwart staat voor geweldloze acties, die op geregelde tijden, in Leuven wekelijks, gehouden worden. Wij voeren actie door middel van “STILLE” wakes. Stilte kan véél luider en sterker klinken dan zoveel woorden die niet gehoord worden. Wij kleden ons in zwarte kleren als rouw voor alle slachtoffers van geweld, discriminatie, destructie van mensen en natuur. Bij deze feministische acties, waar vrouwen zwarte kleding dragen, wordt het traditioneel passieve rouwen voor de oorlogsdoden, uitgebreid tot een krachtig verzet tegen de logica van oorlog en geweld.
