Vrouwen in ‘t Zwart is een wereldwijd netwerk van vrouwen dat zich inzet voor een rechtvaardige vrede, tegen oorlog, militarisme, discriminatie, homofobie, racisme, onrechtvaardigheid en alle vormen van geweld.
 

Wij zijn geen organisatie maar een internationaal netwerk met een speciale formule van actie voeren.

 

Vrouwen in ’t Zwart staat voor geweldloze acties, die op geregelde tijden, in Leuven wekelijks, gehouden worden. Wij voeren actie door middel van “STILLE” wakes. Stilte kan véél luider en sterker klinken dan zoveel woorden die niet gehoord worden. Wij kleden ons in zwarte kleren als rouw voor alle slachtoffers van geweld, discriminatie, destructie van mensen en natuur.
